Cyber Operational Systems Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US What You'll Get to Do: As a member of the Operational Systems Engineering Team, you will assist the Sponsor branch with the technical acumen to develop tools and scripts within a Linux OS environment with a focus on task automation. You will be responsible for system functionality and reliability. You will design, engineer, and implement tools within systems and support technology innovation and best practices. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * Demonstrated experience in Python & Powershell scripting
* Demonstrated experience with Linux/Unix system Administration
* Understanding of software development full stack (front end, back end, network layers, applications, service oriented architecture * Understanding of code and ability to troubleshoot/debug (such as JavaScript, C++, Java, JSP, Perl, Node.JS, Solidity) * Demonstrated experience applying cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies to operations which enables the existence of Cryptocurrency * Proficient in blockchain explorer tools or applications * Understanding of wallets, distributed apps, smart contract, platforms, frameworks, storage systems, and could infrastructure * Experience with open-source applications * Strong understanding of payment mechanisms and processes * Understanding of algorithms, data structures, databases, ledgers ad large-scale systems * Experience working with large data sets * A self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate
* Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance
* Minimum of 3 year of experience in related field These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Basic understanding of virtual, digital, and mobile FINTECH payments * Background in a financial field and knowledge of financial concepts * Experience developing administrative guides to document system troubleshooting and standard operating procedures
* Knowledge of applied cryptography including applications of ECC curves, PKI encryption and zero knowledge proofs
* Ability to track cryptocurrency transactions in enterprise systems
* Flexibility - Works well both independently and as a team player; must be eager to learn
