Designs scalable full-stack blockchain based solutions and software applications, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, server less architecture, and client/server architecture. Designs, develops, and modifies complex and major software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Collaborates with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of organizational/technology structure, guiding principles, and operating models using industry and competitor benchmarks. Reviews and maintains applications for workflow aspects to end user tasks within an entire system including, estimating and scope definition.\u00A0

Primary Responsibilities:\u00A0

  • Ensures blockchain based products are architected and designed to balance speed, scale, and security.\u00A0

  • Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.\u00A0

  • Ensures system, technical, and product architectures are aligned with business objectives.\u00A0

  • Performs and directs research on industry trends, competitors, business, and Information Technology (IT) products.\u00A0

  • Delivers software architecture roadmaps and technical documentation.\u00A0

  • Assesses and determines project prioritization.\u00A0

  • Participates in strategic planning.\u00A0

  • Manages service activities or client relationships by defining customer standards and service level agreements.\u00A0

  • Provides accountability for financial management/budgeting processes.\u00A0

  • Sets the vision, goal, and direction of team/organization.\u00A0

  • Plans and leads organization-wide initiatives.\u00A0

  • Provides leadership and expertise to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex organization-wide projects.\u00A0

  • Conducts business case analyses and readiness assessments for different types of technologies.\u00A0

  • Initiates and manages vendor relationships and establishes requirements for negotiations.\u00A0

  • Advises senior management on technical strategy.\u00A0

  • Reviews, analyzes, and formulas project plans for multiple projects or programs.\u00A0

  • Develops and reviews work plans for applications or systems.\u00A0

Education and Experience:\u00A0

\u00A0

Bachelor s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience building software applications using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).\u00A0

\u00A0

Or, alternatively, Master s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or four (4) years of experience building software applications using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).\u00A0

Skills and Knowledge:\u00A0

Candidate must also possess:\u00A0

  • Demonstrated Expertise (\u201CDE\u201D) building and designing key software functionalities -- balance queries for bitcoin public address -- using blockcypher Application Programming Interface (API); fetching live price feed using coinmarketcap s API; and enabling multi-signature wallets for users and adding analytics to an iOS application using Google Firebase API.\u00A0

  • DE analyzing and developing ZeroKnowledge Ledger (ZKLedger), using Zero Knowledge Proofs, blockchains, Cryptographic Proofs, and Consensus Algorithms cryptocurrencies -- GoLang, Bitcoin, and Ethereum -- within a transaction-based ecosystem for financial banks.\u00A0

  • DE participating and implementing all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) -- participating in architecture and business discussions, delivering innovative solutions from release-to-release and sprint-to-sprint, security requirements, and software development best practices according to Agile methodologies; and performing unit and integration testing, using Java and Typescript frameworks.\u00A0

  • DE in business and systems analysis of decentralized finance -- developing products including, flash loans based on market requirements for financial products using Solidity, Truffle, and web3; and collaborating with cross-functional, globally distributed teams to deliver software solutions, using Agile methodologies.\u00A0
