Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for a Head of Blockchain Strategy to join our Office of Innovation and help us develop Dish’s Digital Currency and Blockchain strategy and product roadmap. You will have to use your expertises in a high level of autonomy to help build a new overall vision and product strategy. You will be responsible for developing and executing on the roadmap which will include technical strategy and capabilities along with the customer experience and launch strategy. Some of the responsibilities of this role will also include:

• Responsible for evaluating, implementing, and supporting distributed network technologies. The primary responsibility will be analyzing requirements, designing blockchain technology around certain business models, and building into the DISH innovation lab and greater DISH enterprise.
• Partner and work closely with other leaders to drive priorities and alignment across different teams and business units.
• Drive prioritization on features, architectural improvements and operational excellence.
• Track project execution, ensure projected timelines and quality standards are met.
• Actively engage in the global blockchain community. Analyze the most recent proposals in the market .
• Document new solutions as well as existing ones.
• As new tools and technologies emerge, brainstorm and assist in the evaluation of applications.
• Serve as a blockchain subject matter expert by leveraging your knowledge and experience.
• Provide thought leadership by developing innovative insights, adopting methods and practices to fit multi operational teams within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a passion working on cutting edge technologies, solving hard problems and with the ability to understand significantly complex technical propositions related to a product.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other technical (STEM) field or an equivalent of experience
• 5+ years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
• Good understanding of NFT platforms with the ability to implement the tools and libraries provided by these platforms.
• Experience on development frameworks such as Solidity, Truffle, Hardhat, Unity and Ganache local blockchain
• Experience on token standards such as ERC20, ERC721, ERC1155, and ERC777, etc.
• Conceptual understanding of ICO, IDO, and STO experience
• Good understanding with Layer2 solution and deployment of smart contracts on sidechains such as Binance, XDai, Polygon, AVAX, Cardano, Pulsechain, Solana, Hyperledger, Algorand
• Good understanding of Defi tokens, launchpads, and automated market markers (AMMs) such as Uniswap, Sushiswap, 1Inch, and Pancakeswap, etc.
• Good understanding of liquidity, yield farming, token staking, and market analysis.
• Understanding of Open zeppelin Library with good knowledge of token forking.
• Knowledge of current technology tools like Microservice Architectures and Docker Containers
• Strong knowledge in RPC, RESTfull, and SOAP
• Experience in deploying the application in Tomcat, Heroku, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Good working experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and Git/Bitbucket
• Experience in writing Smart Contracts
• Familiarity with Basic Cryptography and developing Tokenomics
• Familiarity with P2P Networks
• Deep understanding of digital and cryptocurrencies ecosystems and related technologies
• Experience with Verifiable Credentials & Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to support assumptions and evaluate results
• Superb conceptual thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven record of taking ownership and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment.
• Experience with end to end product delivery and roadmap strategy while contributing to engineering discussions around technical decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communications with technical and non-technical executives,stakeholders and various development and business teams
• Experience in telecom industry is a plus but not required

Salary Range

Compensation: $115,500.00/Year - $165,000.00/Year
